Have you heard of Zug the bug?

Zug the bug: "I'm Zug the bug."

"That's zug,"
"What a big bug."

He went fishing with a dog called Pug.

Pug the dog: "Hi, Zug."

"What will they get?"

Zug the bug: "Hi, Pug."

When their rod gave a tug...

"What' down there?"

Pug the dog: "Help me, Zug!"

Zug the bug: "Hang on, Pug."

...out of the water popped a big fat slug!

Pug the dog: "Ugh!"

"Look at that!"
"Isn't it fat?"

Zug the bug: "It's a slug!"

"We've caught a slug!." said Zug. So pug and Zug did hop and hug.

Slug the slug: "Hi! I'm Slug."

Pug the dog: "Silly Zug."

Zug the bug: "Clever Pug, give me a hug."

"Hug a Pug?"
"Hug a bug"

"Let's take Slug home," said Zug, and they put him in an old milk jug.

Pug the dog: "Okay, Zug"

Slug the slug: "Whee, this is for me!"

Zug the bug: "Into the jug, slippery Slug"

"There goes Slug, into the jug."

Slug, inside the jug, was very hard for them to lug.

Pug the dog: "Push, Zug!"

"Fat Slug..."
"...heavy jug."

Slug the slug: "Will you always lug me? "

Zug the bug: "Pull, Pug!"

Home at last with Slug, they all had milk from a big tin mug.

Pug the dog: "Isn't this snug?"

Slug the slug: "Mmm... milk in a mug. I'm next, Zug!"

"Milk from a mug after a slug - ugh!"

Zug the bug: "Glug, plug"

Then, warm and snug, Zug, Pug, and Slug went to sleep on a bright red rug.

Pug the dog: "zzzz"

"They're as snug..."
"...as a bug in a rug"

Zug the bug: "zzzz."

"Happy Zug."
"He's a bug"
